45 years ago, Pat Guadagno and Frank Sabo were singing Everly Brothers songs around a barroom piano at the Magnolia Inn in Matawan where a patron jokingly referred to them as The Candle Sisters because "they always go outtogether"...I guess you had to be there.
The Duo became a Trio, adding Phil 'Red River' Rizzo and would go on to perform together for the next 45 years. Adding friends along the way, many of whom will be on hand this Labor day weekend Sunday Night to celebrate the musical journey from a Train Station bar in Long Branch to Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands where the Candle Brothers performed Our National Anthem before the Playoff game that sent our beloved Giants on to victory over the Patriot's in Super Bowl XLVI. The Candle Brothers - 45 years of Harmony.
